I was on Twitter the other day and I came across a post from Katt Risen. She is a cool startup builder who builds no-code apps.

She is also, notably, one of the founders behind BuildTheKeyword.

(And it's a really well-done time-saving tool that simplifies the process of starting on the right path.)

Not to mention the fact that keyword research can be laborious and complicated.

So what did Katt do that caught my eye, you might be wondering?

But she posted this image that I want to share with you.

So she is talking about her 3 favorite ways to build passive income.

And the first one is... Directories.

No surprise there.

If you've been on my list for a while, you know I have been building niche directories for myself and some clients.

But I wanted to share some validation of the idea from another source.

But I think there is even more potential in directories even beyond local businesses. (Katt seems to be thinking primarily of directories as local business listings.

Sure, that's a great option, but there is also niche affiliate directories that are, in my opinion, one of the best ways to build an affiliate income.

Riobol, a company that makes a really cool soccer ball just paid out my son nearly $400 this past week.

And he made a listing on his soccer hub directory.

So directories can be local, but they can also just be focused around a niche that you want to earn affiliate income from.
